Lately, I play more PS2 games than new gen games. The last month I finished Wild Arms 4 and Grandia 2. I will wait for the Chrono Cross remake. If it's bad, I will play the PSX one.

I may have more hours in X than I do in XV, but most of them were on PS2 and that data is lost to the past. So sad it couldn't be moved to the PS4 version. I still cry at the end everytime.

But it isn't solely JUST the DVD player driving it's success. People need to understand this. It's not hard to do so.
Look up the first year of best PS2 games and look at all then bangers and some of those went on to being big franchises
